The Billy Boat Headers arrived, so I can start with the implementation of the GT3 Muffler.

I started to remove the engine support and converting the 3.6 engine from triple crank pulley to single pulley, to make more space for the GT3 muffler.

The 993 heat exchanger will be replaced with new header with heat.

I had the make a new special tool to hold the pulley to torque the bolt. When the engine was out of the car and no transmission, I could lock the crank shaft at the flywheel. But now I need something to hold the pulley while torquing the bolt.

This is an early engine console. I will need different studs. Some are to short and some are to long.

I installed the new crank pulley and the engine console, and test fitted the GT3 muffler. The lower section of the rear bumper need to be modified.

I cut out the center section. Too bad that I cannot use the section with the cooling slots. I really liked the look.

I made a new fiberglass piece.

Here already added to the bumper.

I had to modify the rear engine tin section as well, so the muffler could move up about 30mm.

Here final test fit with the lower bumper section in rough finish.

I got me some flanges and made 2 new L-bows for both sides. I only using the inlet which flows through the silencer section.

I also needed cross-over pipe for the heat, since I only have one side connected to the shroud. I used a 3.2L cross-over pipe and modified it a bit.

Here are the muffler and pieces after blasting and coating with Crakote.

Here is a view of the complete system installed.

Here is a little sound clip after installation.
