I got the VW home after painting, and started to sort out the wiring.

The Beetle got some wings. Rear fenders are on.

Front fenders are on.

Front bumper is in place.

Under the wing.

Rear Bumper is also on. I made some custom brackets, so the bumper shocks are gone and the smaller bumpers are now on the car.

Got the drive shafts ready for installation.

Drive shafts installed.

Front brake calipers installed.

Next, I took the engine out of the corner.

All the cooling tins getting removed.

Here it is, need to clean it up. The engine was rebuild back than, and it's a 1835cc.

All these pieces will be blasted and powder coated.

Next to the headlights. The hardware need a litte restoration.

Here are the pieces after restoration.

Now I can install the headlights. The wires got a new plug. The inserts are LED.

The engine lid is also installed

Next: the Cabrio top. First sorting out the hardware and restore them.

Starting with the top frame

Now the headliner get's installed

The padding is next

And finally the outer skin, as well the rear window.
