  Here I will cover some small project I knocked out in between the main work

  July 2015

One of these smaller projects was the electrical panel in the engine compartment.

  First thing after I had it removed was to disassemble it and see how good or bad it is. Cleaned it all, and was able to remove the red paint. The panel was blasted and painted. The ignition box got blasted as well, and after that just a coat of clear engine enamel

  Here are all parts ready for assembly.

After assembly it look like new again. One thing down, and I can pack it away, have it ready when I get to the poit that it will go back in the car.

  August 2015

I decided to give some of the suspension, brake  pieces a treatment. First I blasted it in my home  build blasting cabinet.

  After the piieces were all blasted, I powercoated them. Here are the bushings for the front A-arm, fuel pump holder, brake fueld reservoir holder, and the covers for the sway bar holes, as well the seat brakets.

  Here are the brake parts, they are all powdercoated with gold, as close as possible to the yellow zinc plating.

  November 2015

Here I have the heater flapps, they need some TLC

  First I disassembled them and gave them a good cleaning treatment.

  After all the pieces were removed I grit blasted them and powder coated them.

  And here they are assembled and ready to put away until I need to put them back in the car.
